Dale and I double dated the Jr/Sr prom.   After the prom we went to his house somewhere under the rimrocks and grilled steaks for our dates and selves.  I remember Dale as I knew him as a fun guy to be around.  He always had a smile and was a generous person.  I am sure his loved ones miss him.
