Kathleen Niemi White

Rockwall, TX - Kathleen Niemi White, age 49 of Rockwall, TX passed away Saurday, May 8, 1999.

She was born Sept. 27, 1949, in Billings, MT, to Raino and Kathryn Fowell Niemi. She graduated from Billings Senior High School and attended Eastern Montana College. She worked in the information technology industry for the past 30 years, most recently as compensation manager with Lucent Technologies. She was a committed member of the First United Methodist Church in Rockwall where she was actively involved in small group ministry.

She is survived by her husband, Bill White of Rockwall; children: Stacy Benton (Dallas) of Rowlett and Bradley White (Kit) of Plano; sister Janet Chubb (Nick) of Atlanta, Ga; Brother, John Niemi (Ellen) of Littleton, Co; niece Laura Niemi of Los Angeles, Calif; and grand children: Cody, Collin, Krystal and Robert.

Funeral, under the direction of Rest Haven Funeral Home, will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 11 at the First United Methodist Church in Rockwall, with Reverend Keith P. Boone officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Susn G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, 500 LBJ Freeway, te. 250, Dallas, TX 75244.

I was so lucky to have been friends with Kathy. Her sense of humor and mischief making should have gotten us in so mich trouble. Kathy, I am sad that you are gone from this Earth. Save me a seat next to you, girl!

Kathy was my best friend in high school. She was such a beautiful person and the funniest person I knew. She and Holly Duncan made life fun and exciting. I miss her so much. Love ya lady!

John Armstrong

I remember Kathy all those years at Lincoln Jr and Senior High. I remember she lived up by St. Vincents hospital that is if my memory serves me well. She was always smart, gacious, and friendly. She died much too young. My condolences to her family and friends.
