50TH REUNION BILLINGS SENIOR HIGH

CLASS OF 1967

How time flies!  How can it be that we graduated from Billings Senior High 50 years ago?  We hope that you can join us for the festivities and celebrate with our fellow classmates.  So many good memories!

Our plans have been finalized, and the Reunion Committee has reserved venues for our events.  Please register for these events on the menu to the left under "50th Reunion Events".  PLEASE REGISTER FOR THE EVENTS YOU WANT TO ATTEND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE SO THAT WE CAN GET A HEAD COUNT FOR OUR VENUES.  Payment does not have to be made to register. An invoice will be emailed to you.

Friday, September 8th, 2017

 For the golfers, check-in starts at 8:30 AM at Peter Yegen Golf Course.  Pre-registration is required; please call Tim Bergstrom at (406) 861-6048.  It will not be a golf tournament .... just a fun time to hit some balls and show off your skills.  Cost is $43 per person for 18 holes and half of a cart.  

From 1:00 - 2:30 PM there will be a guided tour of our beloved school by members of the Student Council. This is an opportunity to view the 110 murals and see if you can find your old locker. There will be some free parking spaces available at the Trinity Lutheran Church at 537 Grand Ave., but plan to arrive early to find a parking space at the church or on the street.  You will not be able to park in the school lot which is reserved for students and teachers.   A headcount is required for this tour, but there is no cost, We will meet at the BSHS Front Office before 1 PM so the tour can start on time.

From 6:00 PM to midnight we will have our "Meet and Greet" social at the Red Door.  Heavy appetizers and a cash bar will be available; cost is $25 per person.

On Saturday evening from 5:30 to Midnight we will enjoy cocktails, dinner, dancing and reminiscing at the Big Horn Resort with the West High Class of 1967,   Dinner will be buffet style with a choice of Beef Medallions, Chicken Picatta or Vegan. Tom Blankenship's legendary band will provide music from the 60's focusing on the top hits of 1967.  Cost is $50 per person. 

Sunday, September 10, 2017 

At 11:30 AM on Sunday, September 10,  there will be a memorial service in Pioneer Park for the classmates we have lost.  We have rented the Zimmerman Center for the afternoon, so stay awhile to enjoy the park, relax and visit with your classmates.  Bring your own lunch, or you can purchase delicious hamburgers and fries from Sandee's Food Truck which will be on site  --- a blast from the past!   Beer, pop and water will be available for the afternoon; donations would be appreciated to offset the cost of the beverages.  

Motels

A block of rooms has been set aside at the Big Horn Resort; be sure to mention that you are attending the Class of 1967's 50th Reunion to get the special rate of $99 plus tax per night.                  Call (406) 839-9300 for reservations.  The Big Horn Resort has a water park and is located off I-90, Exit Zoo Drive.  Three other motels are located within walking distance but do not have a block of rooms reserved:

The Reunion Committee has chosen Senior High's "Save our Murals" as our project for the 50th  reunion.  The murals have been been a tradition at BSHS since 1947, and over 110 murals are still in existence. However, many murals have been painted over or covered and are in need of cleaning, repair and/or lighting.  Instead of holding an auction or raffle, we have decided to keep it simple and make a donation box available for those of you who would like to make a donation.  A book If The Walls Could Speak containing professional photos of the murals is available for $45, or you can enjoy several of these photos on this website.  Please consider making a donation to this worthy cause.

A professional photographer will be available at the Fri. & Sat. evening events as well as the Memorial on Sunday.  She will sell reunion pictures on a CD for $20 plus $5 for shipping and handling; cash and checks will be accepted at the reunion events.   All arrangements are between classmates and the photographer, not the Reunion Committee.
